Provably Fair

Melee Roulette uses commit-reveal randomness combined with block randomness for provably fair results:

How It Works

1. House Commits: Before betting opens, the house commits to a secret value (publishes its hash)

2. RANDAO Captured: On the first bet, the block's prevrandao value is captured

3. Reveal & Combine: When rolling, the house reveals the secret and it's combined with the captured RANDAO

4. Verify: Anyone can verify the committed hash matches the revealed secret

Why It's Fair

• House can't cheat: They commit before knowing the player's randomness contribution

• Players can't cheat: They don't know the house's secret

• Verifiable: All commitments and reveals are on-chain
